I get this error message: "Works cannot access one or
more required files it needs to run the Word Processor.
The files may have been renamed, deleted, or moved. Try
reinstalling Works, and then starting the program again."
I do not know how to go about reinstalling Works since my
eMachines PC did not include a Works Setup CD. I cannot
use system restore since I had it off recently due to
problems with trojans. I did have a backup of my system
state. Restoring this did not help.

I received this reply when I contacted eMachines tech
support:

Some systems have the ability to reinstall this program
without restoring the computer.
- Open My Computer
- Double click on the C: drive
- Double click on the Bundle folder (If Available) [there
is no Bundle file -RS]
- If the program is here, you can double click on it to
reinstall it.

If it is not listed or does not reinstall correctly, you
will only be able to reinstall it by running a full
restore on the system.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Roger

Spend $50-100 to but WORKS or WORKS SUITE.
