You have a file created in Power Point. You either must have Power
Installed or use the free Power Point viewer:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads
details.aspx?FamilyID=7C404E8E-5513-46C4-AA4F-058A84A37DF1&displaylang=EN

Note that the above url wraps in my newsreader. Either enter it into
your browser's addressbar on one line or search on Microsoft's Office
Downloads site for the Power Point viewer.

That's a PowerPoint file. PowerPoint is part of MS Office. You can
download a free viewer for PowerPoint files at:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...27-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&displaylang=en

That will allow you to see the file, but not to make any updates to
it. To update it, or create your own, you'll need to buy PowerPoint.
Or download Open Office (www.openoffice.org) a free, open source
alternative that can open MS Office files, including *.pps files.

Greetings --

*.pps files are PowerPoint slide shows. You need to have
PowerPoint or a PowerPoint viewer installed to view these files.

If you only need to view the files, there is a free viewer
available:
