Can I uninstall microsoft works 7.0 through the add
remove in the control panel? I want to install microsoft
works suite 2004 instead as it has Word. Will there be
any problems with my system doing this? I have XP home
edition on my computer. Thanks for any info.

Shouldn't be a problem, however many "Office" based
products will upgrade and carry over settings and options
that may be lost by an uninstall. If you start the 2004
install it may detect the previous version and offer you
an upgrade option or it will remove the older version for
you.

I don't see any reason why that should be a problem.
