Hi,

I think this is an easy one but not for me!!! All of a sudden in Microsoft
Word 2003 when you go to page set up it is showing in points not cm. Why has
it done this and how can I change it back to cm

You better post this in Microsoft Word News Group.

However, try this:

1. Open Microsoft Word.
2. Click Tools - Options
3. Click General Tab.
4. Under Measurement Units: [Change the value as required]

Hope this help, let us know!

From MS Word HELP:

Change the default unit of measure
You can set the default unit of measure (for example, inches or points
(point: Unit of measure referring to the height of a printed character. A
point equals 1/72 of an inch, or approximately 1/28 of a centimeter.)) that
Microsoft Word uses for measurements you enter in dialog boxes and for the
Word rulers.

1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the General tab.
2. In the Measurement units box, click the option you want.

Note To change the default unit of measure in dialog boxes to pixels
(pixel: A single unit of measurement that your computer's display hardware
uses to paint images on your screen. These units, which often appear as tiny
dots, compose the pictures displayed by your screen.), select the Show
pixels for HTML features check box.

Hi

Thanks that has done it, I knew it would be simple and I haven't a clue why
it suddenly changed like that. Thanks again
