when it goes to restart my computer it goes ito a loop cfirst select an
operating system Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and press enter then it
goes to my Dell screen then it goes back to slect an operating system. How

the key to fixing this
type of issue is to log
directly into the disk
system.

therefore, boot with the windows
cd into recovery console.

when you get to the disk system
prompt run the command

bootcfg /rebuild

and

fixboot

then

exit
