XP HOME EDITION

I updated my computer motherboard & components. When I tried to reinstall the
XP home edition it ran through fine but came up on the XP start screen and
would not roll further. Stayed in a continuous loop. Any suggestions?

caused by hardware.

did the hard drive
have the o.s. on it
from the other system?
