Microsoft Virtual Machine - can not update

I can not update the 816093 Security Update Microsoft
VM. An error appears saying that I have to have the
current VM installed first (I think). I tried going into
the Run and typing jfind (I think) and it said the file
was too big to display. The annoying part is the update
keeps popping up to install and it won't go all the way.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
