Microsoft Updates

This is a repost, don't think the last one was sent:

Is it possible to download all the Microsoft updates so they can be burnt to a dvd disk?

After reinstalling my system it appears to me that installing the upgates off a disk is more convenient.

I would need then to only download and install the updates which I don't already have thereby saving some time.

Will service pack 3 have all the current updates in it or is a service pack different from the updates?
