Microsoft Sidewinder

I have an older Sidewinder, it has no "Force Feedback". It has a 15 pin
gameport plug. The problem is I do not have a gameport on the computer I am
using, so I found a 15 pin gameport to USB adapter. This wouldn't be a
problem except XP doesn't find it. I tried to find a driver to fix the
problem, but I couldn't. Could someone help me out?

The device you have is not designed to work with a gameport to USB adapter.

As a result, it isn't much of a surprise that it isn't working.

Your choices are
i) get a gameport installed on the computer (either a standalone card or as
part of a sound card)
ii) get a USB based device

Personally speaking, the better option would be the second, even though
it'll be more expensive, as gameport devices can have difficulty working as
fsb speeds get higher and higher. USB devices won't have this issue.

Thank you very much Jason. I normally would have just bought another
one...but I'm a tightwad. LOL, thank you.
