microsoft shared fax client

I an trying to install an upgrade from ME to XP. The
installer tells me I need to delete microsoft shared fax
client before I can proceed with the upgrade. It tells me
to go to the install/uninstaller in the control panel and
delete from my machine. The problem is that when I go
there it is no where to be found. I may have uninstalled
it already, but I'm not sure. How do you get it off the
machine so I can put XP on?
