Thanks for the info. It only took about 10 minutes for them all to install,
and then the reboot, so no problem. Have a good one....JJ :)

11 updates for xp- and 2 for office 2003
so far in xp all is well
and yes you need to reboot

Yes I do.

They have a large and complex product line, and they devote substantial
resources to not just improving the security of their products, but helping
clean up the environment for everyone. And they work to do that in a way
which allows admins to handle the workload in a predictable way as far as
possible.

I'm not meaning to diss your response---but if Apple, for example, did as
well, Mac users would be snowed under in updates. As it is, there were
updates on successive days this week for the Mac--Safari, and a DNS security
patch.
