For October MSRCTEAM releasing 13 bulletins
(eight critical and five important),
addressing 34 vulnerabilities, affecting

Windows,

Internet Explorer,

Most of these updates require a restart so please factor that into your
deployment planning.

Among the updates this month, are *closing* out two current security
advisories:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/975497.mspx

Services (975191)
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/975191.mspx

Usually MSRCTEAM do not go into this level of detail in the advance
notification but MSRCTEAM felt that it is important guidance so customers
can plan accordingly and deploy these updates as soon as possible.

More information about the upcoming security updates can be found here in

Robin, Yet, another comment that is RIGHT ON THE MONEY! I got a new iMAC

patches..thank God!

it is a shame that Apple makes the machine so expensive. You can purchase 2
pcs for the price of one Mac.
I would think with all the problems Microsoft has that Apple would learn
something here and lower the prices. If they did I would be the first in
line to purchase one.

I would agree, Robin, but I'm of the school of thinking that says, "You get
what you pay for!" Go for it, you won't be disappointed and it will pay
your time in seconds flat!

P.S. Getting rid of the grief is worth the price of the machine!

Yep, I'm gonna go home and log right into my MAC as a GUEST...just so I can
wipe out all my data. GMAFB.
