I have down loaded and installed Microsoft Powerpoint 2003

When I attempt to load data from a custom made CD for
viewing the computer cursor freezes and the only way
to free it is to eject the CD.

Help....Any sugestions

Where exactly did you "download" PowerPoint 03 from? Microsoft has
never offered it's Office suite stuff for download (unless it's on the
MSDN site, for big bucks).

CD or CD drive is bad. Try giving the CD a good clean (rub hard with
soft cloth).

Try coping the file from CD to hard disk with Explorer and then load the
PowerPoint file from hard disk.

Also ... from where did you download PowerPoint?

The only places I can think of where you can download Office 03 are
MIRC warez channels and many USENET newsgroups...but of course that's
piracy.
