Microsoft Paint

I recently opened a very large file using MS Paint and
ever since, the program has been extremely slow and before
it will even open, a message comes up that memory is very
low. I do not know for sure what happened but it is messed
up big time.
Is there some way to un-install and re-install Microsoft
Paint? I looked at add/remove programs and it is not
listed anywhere there.

Thanks for your help.

Check to see what is memory hogging your machine.

What is that process?

.
How can I check to see what is hogging the memory. I have
256 mb ram and the only time that I get the message is
when I try to open MS Paint. I am assuming that to be the
culprit.

Thanks

Fire up MSPAINT. Start | Run | mspaint | OK. Then after all settles down
go to File | New. Use the cursor and set the size of the canvas to be reall
small. Then close out. Now try to open MSPAINT. Same issue? Try it with
the Task Manger open and see what the % of the CPU is being used when you
open it.

Sorry it took a while to get back to you - you were right,
I set the size of the canvas to the default, everything
worked great. It all opens and closes just like it is
supposed to.

Thanks again for your help.
