How to default to Paint instead of "WIndows Picture and Fax Viewer"

I'm using a program called Printkey.

When I select Edit, it default to "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer"
instead of paint. I went to Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder
Options -> File Type and select Paint to open BMP, yet in Printkey, it
still open with the Viewer.

However, when I'm in Windows Explorer, I can open BMP directly with
Paint.

How can I change the behaviour of Printkey ? Thanks.

Go to it's top tab Options> Define BMP Editor> and then Browse to the
Mspaint.exe and apply.

However I don't do that nor edit right from the program at all, and much
rather set in options to just save all the screenshots in gif format, and
then, if I want to edit the file afterwards I'll just drag/drop into, or
use 'send to' mspaint to do it. .. imho using gifs seems to be much more
convenient and versatile than bmp; or you could also save in jpeg for
better quality but the file size of course is larger and so all of this
depends on what you want to use the screenshot for, and then choose the
resulting format. I never use bmp though and was the first thing I changed
from default. ymmv

Which version of Printkey are you using ? I don't have this Define BMP
Editor option.

Ok thanks very much.
I guess I'm looking at it from a OS extension association problem.
Anyway, when Windows Picture and Fax Viewer opens, I can get it to call
Paint. So it's a workaround.
Thanks.
