Picture and Fax viewer

Hello,
How do I change the photo editing application in Windows picture and fax
viewer when I click on the editing icon. I would like to open .jpg files in
picture and fax viewer (default) but edit in Photoshop when I choose the
edit button. Currently it opens Windows Paint to edit.
Thanks in advance.

This is how I did similar:

Windows Explorer-Tools-Folder Options-File Types
Find .jpg
Click Advanced.
Click New
Action: Edit
Application used...: browse to Photoshop .exe file.
OK your way out.

Thanks Alan,
I appreciate the quick response.
However, I would like to keep Picture and Fax viewer for previewing the
images and when I click on the edit button, I would like to edit with
Photoshop instead of Paint where it defaults.

MVP Ramesh has this fix well documented on his website.

Change the default image editor application, invoked from Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer:

Odd? I don't have Photoshop but I just did it for Irfanview while I
was typing the instructions and it work correctly.

What did you put in for the "Application to open.."?
(copy and paste it, please don't retype)
DDE checked or not?
If checked, then what did you put in it?
