When I send an email with Outlook 98, an error message is
indicated with no error number, stating that the email
cannot be sent. Norton Anti-Virus scanner pops up and
scans the email. I have confirmed that the email has been
received but the email remains in my out box.
 
Try disabling Norton.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
