Microsoft Outlook XP

I have just installed Microsoft XP and in Outlook when I
try to set up the email I get the following error message:
Operation failed due to a registry or installation
problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If the problem
persists please reinstall. I have done all the suggested
fixes but nothing works.

Deb, I found this possible solution on the internet.
Here's what it said:

CAUSE
This behavior can occur if your e-mail profile is
damaged.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, create a new e-mail profile.
