Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem

I try to open up Microsoft Outlook and keep getting a message stating
Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. Every time I
try to open up Outlook, I get the same thing. Is there a reason for this?

It has encountered a problem and has to close.

Have you tried a Detect and Repair? Control Panel->Add/Remove
programs->Office->Change.

Milly,

I have the same issue described above. I tried your procedure and nothing
happens to fix the error messge.

I also tried reinstalling both Outlook 2003 and Business Contact Manager. I
am using Office 2003 with Windows XP.

Thanks in advance.

I tired your steps and it does not solve the error message problem. Here are
my steps:

I am using Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 with Outlook 2003. I am
trying to customize the view in Mail. Here are my steps:

View
Arrange By
Current View
Customize Current View
Other Settings
In Column font or Row font, when I try to change fonts, I get the following
error message:

Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Sorry for the inconvenience. This is the error message with the SEND ERROR
REPORT button on the bottom.

The same exact thing happens when I try to customize in Contacts and Notes
in Outlook 2003.

Thanks in advance.
