microsoft outlook 2003 send receive email problem

I am using msft outlook because I connect my ipac pda to
it.My problem is that I cannot send receive email.If I try
to send a message the send box in upper left hand corner
has dissappeared.I can't receive email either. My problem
started when I downloaded a browser called firefox by
mozilla.They had me go to file types and uncheck DDE and
erase the message in the DDE box.I uninstalled the firefox
browser to see if this would help.It did not. I then
restored my computer to earlier date before browser was
installed and that did not help.I went to the DDE window
and get error message saying file firefox is needed to
make program work.This file is gone because I uninstalled
the browser.How can I reconfigure my email so that it will
work? If someone can help please send me an email.Thank You
