microsoft office word 2007 not responding message

Everytime I try to open up a new word or excel document it comes up not
responding and just hangs there - I then cancel out of document for the
message restart document to come up and once it has reopened a new document-
then I can open up documents alright. I have run a microsoft office
diagnostic - and that comes up with no errors - it happens every day and is
so annoying can someone please help me. Thanking You.

the registry. If you are using Norton AV, uncheck its office plug-in option.
