Microsoft Office Standard for Teachers and Students

T

Tim Harvey

I have a new computer and want to install Microsoft
Office from my CD disc. The new computer has a trial
version of Office and won't accept the cd for the
standard students and teachers disc.
Do I have to purchase a new cd disc for the new computer
or is there some way to install the disc I have? I hate
to purchase something I already have. Pleas advise.

See if the trial version is listed in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel
and try removing it using that utility. Once removed, reboot and see if you
can install from your CD assuming the license agreement for your version
allows you to install on a different computer from which it was originally
installed.
