Microsoft Office Keyboard

C

Chris K.

I want to use my Microsoft Office Keyboard. Where can I find the driver for
Vista?

In the actual IntelliType Software there is no support for the Keyboard.

Thanks

There is no driver for Vista and there is not going to be any. I have the
same keyboard that is left half functional. But, it is 6 years old now.

Try this:

Download Intellitype 5.0 from here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...52-5d92-4772-a2fd-5ab35c750685&DisplayLang=en

Force the installation of IntelliType Pro 5.0 (old version).
- Unzip ITP5_0Eng.exe (direct execution not possible on Vista.)
- In property of \Microsoft Intellitype Pro 5.0\IType\Setup.exe, set
Compatibility mode = Win2000
- Launch this Setup (not the \Microsoft Intellitype Pro 5.0\Setup.exe !)
- In C:\Program Files\Microsoft IntelliType Pro, set Compatibility mode =
WinXP (or Win2000) for ALL the exe.

It works, only pb is there is an error message when trying to access to the
configuration of the keyboard in Control Panel (RunDll32...). But at least
all the keys are working (Cut, Past, Copy, Web... and wheel).

Thanks to BarCode for this tip. Its allowed me and others to use our Office
Keyboards again.
