Hello,

Does anyone know how to type vertically downward? For example, when you see
a flyer posted with phone numbers typed vertically so they can be torn off
the page?

Hope this is clearl. Thanks in advance.

This is a newsgroup for Windows Vista, but I'm gonna try to help.

You have to create a row of tables, type the text in each cell that you want
to be torn off. \

Right click each text in the cell and choose text direction. You can then
choose the orientation you want.

In Word, you would create a table to define the size and shape of
those tags. Then you could select each table cell, and use Format|Text
Direction.

I've never used Works. I don't know whether its word processor has
this capability.
