microsoft net.framework

hi in my list of programmes i have net.framework 1,2,3,3.1 and i was just
wondering if 3 is the most recent update can or should i remove 2 etc will
this increase disc space and speed up the comp if i do? (home user and don't
have a network if that's what it means) many thanks

No, they are not updates to one program. They are all different. Programs
are written using a particular .Net Framework and if you uninstall the .Net
Framework whatever program uses it will cease to work. The .Net Framework
has nothing to do with networking.

No you can't. 3 needs 2. Many programs need these files. If you remove.NET
they won't work. .NET is a programming library not a network thing.
