Hi All,

I recently re-installed XP on my computer and noticed something very
irritating.

If I am trying something, or am doing any keystrokes, and I move the
mouse, the focus is taken away from my window and I have to re-gain the

focus to continue what I was doing.

Sometimes if it a browser window and I was copying text, the browser
will go back a screen or two.

I've scanned my PC with McAfee and Ad-Aware and Spybot and TrojanGuard,

nothing.

I have one of those Intellipoint Mice......

Any suggestions on what could be causing this???

Thanks.

Try this: Open Windows Explorer and navigate to Tools - Folder Options - General. Under 'Click items as follows' select "Double click..." If that doesn't do it, there's a setting in TweakUI that'll help.

There is a setting that allows your mouse to work like "X Windows" in which
the focus is automatcally given to the window under the mouse. It's either
in the control panel/ms mouse settings or available through tweakui
