The Microsoft Mail icon has diappeared from my Start Menu and I have to go
to the Help Menu to bring up the Microsoft Mail menu and click on - Where
to find your e-mail account information.

How can I get the icon back in the Start Menu???

Pls help!

There is no "Microsoft Mail" but perhaps you meant Windows Mail.
Go to the Start menu, All Programs, right-click on Windows Mail,
select either "Create Shortcut", or "Pin to Start Menu."

who ever created vista didn't compile many what if scenarios by the looks of
things its ridiculous to know when trying to send emails they either don't
send or recipient send so back saying that they cant read or open as not
compatible to their software

If your messages do not send, you should get an error message. Please post
it here and someone may be able to assist you.
If your recipients cannot read or open what you send, please explain in more
detail what you are sending.
Many people get Office 2007 on a new computer, which uses a new file format
as default, which older versions cannot open.

My icon has disappeared from the toolbar. I had it set up to view my comcast
mailbox. Anyway, I right-clicked on the email from the start menu and the
only choices I got were Read Email Internet Properties and Remove from
List. Any other suggestions for getting the icon back ?

Disappeared from the toolbar of which program?
I suspect you are talking about webmail. If so, just click on this link:
http://www.comcast.net/webmail

It should load that page in your default web browser, which is probably
Internet Explorer. Then you can set up a Favorite link and a desktop
shortcut from there.
