Microsoft Keyboard 700

D

dale

I just replaced my old keyboard with the Model 700 wireless. All functions
work except the top row (e-mail, home, mute, music, calculator). The only
buttons on the top row which have any effect are the volume up/down buttons.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dale

I am not familiar with the 700 model (do you mean 7000?)
Have you loaded the Intellitype software for it?

I ran google and searched for:

microsoft internet keyboard driver

The first result took me to a Microsoft page
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/downloads/default.mspx where I can
choose one of three download links. Choose the fist link of the three
on the page about keyboards, answer the questions, download, install,
etc. I see a wireless 7000 something or another in there. Should be
version 6.something.

I "fixed" my bottons on my wired keyboard a long time ago just because
they didn't do anything.

Never use them.
