Keyboard usage

I recently purchased a Microsoft keyboard (optical desktop 700) in Spain, the
keybord is a Spanish variant keyset. However my language is english and my pc
is using XP set to English UK.
The problem is various Shift and AltGR keys are not in the marked
positions, most seem to be in the conventional Qwerty UK position.

No softwareprovided with product and the User books and help menus give no
answer??

Any ideas how to fix this????
Thanks in advance

Load up the Control Panel, and open the "Regional and Language Options"
console. Click the "Languages" tab on the new window and hit "Details...".

There's an "Add" button in the next window which allows you to specify a new
language/keyboard layout setup. You may wish to remove the old one afterwards.

Change the keyboard layout in Control Panel | Regional and Language
Options | Languages | Details | Settings.
