Microsoft Java Virtual Machine

Hi,

When attempting to play certain games using the Java Virtual Machine, this message pops up:

WildTangent Webdriver requires the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine. Internet Explorer is using an alternate JVM. Please check the default JVM settings in the control panel. I looked in the control panel, but I don't want to mess things up! Please help!

Thank You

It doesn't appear that most of the new PC's having XP are coming with
WildTangent anymore. Perhaps because some respected anticompromise
utilities, such as Spybot Search and Destroy, identify it as spyware and
automatically select it for deletion upon your approval? Well, nothing is
really free, is it.

Because of a legal issue that Microsoft lost in court, a Java environment is
no longer supplied by Microsoft. MS won't delete JVM if you already had it
installed before upgrading, but MS will not support it or provide a download
for Java. Not what you want to hear, but that's the way it is.
