Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem...argh

Everytime I try to log into ebay or try to forward mail
to friends, a small box the reads, Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close. This is
keeping me from making extra money on ebay. Please help
me resolve this problem, it's driving me crazy.
