Microsoft Hotfix for Dual Core & HyperThreading processors?

3 questions:

Does this update apply to HyperThreading processors (e.g. P4 3.06GHz with
HT)?

Is this document suggesting this fix comes with XP Service Pack 2, or it
should be installed on a system with XP SP2?

I have a P4 3.06GHz with HT, Windows XP Professional and saw this document.
Do I need to install this?

- Multiple logical threads, such as Intel hyper-threading technology.

2. No, this is post SP2.

3. The update applies to your system as it is post SP2 and you have HT.
