Microsoft Graph feature

I am having a strange problem with Acess 2003. I have an application that
owrked perfectly with Office XP, but when I upgraded to Office 2003 the
following began. I couple of the forms I run were created with the chart
wizard. What is happening is that each time I click the button to
dynamically create a chart Access brings up a install dialog box and then
says "Installing Microsoft Graph feature" if I change a parameter and
rebuild the chart It will do it again and again.

Has anyone had this issue and what cazn I do to stop it. The graph is
beuild perfectly but the installer should not load it every time I invoke a
parameter change.


Any thoughts???

I'm not sure why it's doing this, but you may be able to stop it by:
1) Going to Add/Remove Programs
2) Selecting your Microsoft Office install and selecting "Change"
3) Select "Add/Remove Features", then Next
4) Check the "Choose Advanced Customizations" checkbox, then Next
5) Under Microsoft Office -> Office Tools -> Microsoft Graph, click on
the hard drive icon to the left of this selection and change it to "Run All
From My Computer"

If this doesn't work, post back and let me know.

Bryan Reich,

I appreciate your help in this matter, it has been baffled. I have tried
running all the the hard drive and I still get the exact same thing. I have
completely uninstalled it and reinstalled and still get the same thing. I am
lost. I have other machines that use the same application that work
perfectly, but not this one. Any onther advice or directionis greatly
appreciated.

Charles,
What are your system specs? What OS and version? Have you kept your system
up to date with windowsupdate?
If you are all up to date and the problem persists, I will do some digging
on this end and see if there is an outstanding known issue about this.

I understand, but please refer to my previous reply. I need your OS specs
(version, service pack), and I should also recommend you visit
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
and
http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate/default.aspx?CTT=98
to get any fixes or updates that are published there.
If I go to the product group and ask them for assistance, they are going to
tell me to tell you to do the above things anyway, so we might as well try
them now, and they'll ask for the OS information too.
Oh, one last question, do you have administrator rights on your machine?
