I'm running XP home edition SP2 and my internet security (Norton) keeps
notifying me that a remote system is attempting to access Microsoft Generic
Host Process for Win32 Services on your computer. The information for this
is as follows:
Time: 18:41
Date: 04/09/2004
Program: C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe
Protocol: UDP (Inbound)
Remote Address: 66.36.249.99 : 20430
Local Address: All local network adapters : 1026

Norton recommends me to permit this but i'm not sure what it is can anyone
help. Thanks in advance.

Unless you know exactly what outside computer is trying to connect
to yours, and unless you want this connection, you should continue to
block it.
