when I use my scanner, the document is sent to a place
called Microsoft Exchange. How do I access that
information once the scanner is finished? I use Windows
XP with a UMAX Astra 2100U scanner.

Microsoft Exchange is an email server. Given that you have access to
one of these suggests that you have access to an IT staff. Consult with
them, or read the manual that came with your scanner which explains how
to use the software. If you have no manual, then read the "help" in that
scanner software.

Microsoft Exchange is an older E-Mail client that, to my knowledge, is
not longer supported, and hasn't been for several years. MS Exchanger
Server is an e-mail Server. Neither has anything to do with scanned
documents. I'd say you have some searching on your HD to do.
