Vuescan and Umax scanner

I cannot get Vuescan to recognize my Umax Astra 2100u scanner.
The scanner works fine however with the Vistascan software
provided but it does not have histogram capability so I
would like to use Vuescan. I am using Vuescan 7.5.53.
Is there any way to resolve this problem? Thanks

Most Umax USB scanners are not supported, according to the Vuescan web site.
Maybe you can use Silverfast.
