Microsoft Diagnostic and Recovery Toolset.

I downloaded Microsoft Diagnostic and Recovery Toolset and installed in my
computer. Intel Pentium 4 2.40GHz 1GB RAM OS Windows XP Professional SP2.
The Tool is installed and found in the ADD/Remove of Control Panel.
The file is there in the System Drive C:/ Programmes. The file is 146MB.
But in the all programme list, this programme shortcut is there, but only
the extention for Help is there, and not the extentions for the Tools in the
Toolset. Hence Unable to run the Tool. No short cuts havebeen placed for the
tools in DeskTop.
I have tried repairing the Toolset from the Add/Remove window, It didnot work.
Can someone please throw some light on thi issue.

If you are a Microsoft Software Assurance customer then you can use
your tech. support contact at Microsoft to help you to resolve the
issue.

If you downloaded this from a non-Microsoft web site then you need to
refer back to that web site or contact the web site owner regarding
assistance with the product.

Good luck
