microsoft.com:80 when I do XP Pro Windows Update

I get microsoft.com:80 timed out message when I try to do
Windows Updates.

AdSubtract is configured correctly for Windows Update.

No virious per Norton.

Security set to medium.

No other knowen problems.

Suggestions?
