Microsoft Antispyware.....Please Step Your Game Up!

Just yesterday I downloaded a screensaver and upon doing so I also opened a
door for intruders. I noticed scripts trying to make attempts to re-route my
browser and Micro's Antispyware alerted me. Still, I noticed strange
things..... It would take forever for IE to open up and sometimes my
homepage wouldn't show up. I ran Micro's Antispyware program and it said
there was nothing wrong. Still I found another spyware scanner and it found
two intruders. "Starware" and "Weatherbug" had crept on my pc and had hidden
themselves. I'm a big fan of Microsoft Antispyware, I love all of it's
features, yet I don't want a program that can't help keep me safe from the
bogies in the web. In an unknown free scanner on the web can catch those
intruders, surely Microsoft should be able to do so as well. Please, step
your game up!

Yeah, that's what troubles me. I only downloaded a screensaver, yet it was
bundled with a parasite colony including AOL advertisements that I'm still
trying to get off my pc.

That is why I would love MSAS (Windows Defender) to have an advance feature
programs I allow to add to reg/startup/etc. instead of it doing everything
for me. An advanced feature. Example: It allows quicktime to be added to
startup (I don't want it to be added though)

I know exactly what you mean about Quicktime.
