Microsoft antispyware hasn't detected any spyware

I have ran Microsoft antispyware and it has never
detected anything. Afterwards, I can run adaware or
spybot and they detect spyware. Why does Microsoft
antispyware miss them?

Had same issue. Is the Microsoft version useless? Or are we doing something
wrong?

It is hard to compare antispyware products. There is no industry-standard
definition of spyware, or even of what details constitute a given threat.

Microsoft Antispyware does not scan for or selectively remove cookies or
data miners. Ad-aware does.
