Microsoft Antispyware doesn't save the configurations

Hello,

The Microsoft Antispyware installed in my computer
doesn't save its configurations anymore after a spyware
infection. The spyware were removed, but leaves this
problem. Always when I run the program, these wizard
screen is showed. I make all settings but in next ran,
the wizard appear again. Update or reinstall don't fix
the problem. So, what can I do to solve this problem?

OK - you've tried the Update option, so here's where I'd go from there:

1) repair install--start, control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft
Antispyware, "Click here for support information", repair

2) uninstall Microsoft Antispyware, delete the installation folder and
subfolders, and reinstall.

(I think #2 will do it, but I'll be really interested if #1 does better than
the Update did.)
