Microsoft AntiSpyware - DeactivatedItems

I have two items in C:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware\DeactivatedItems
folder.

Does this mean
1. that Anti-spyware has prevented some malware from operating on my system,
or

2. does it mean that MAS Beta has been de-activated and does not examine
these two itmes during a scan to determine if they have malicious content.

Thank you Engel,

I appreciate your response but have been guessing myself for a couple of
weeks but I'm hoping for a definative response because another anti spyware
program still lists these two items as being malicious software called
"PowerReg Scheduler" and identifed it as being located in the MAS
DeactivatedItems folder.

Microsoft Anti-Spyware doesn't find or delete these during a scan but my
other program finds and identifies them as spyware. So, I'm left wondering
if I or should I not delete them?. I don't want to take the incorrect
action if microsoft anti-spyware doesn't scan them because they should remain
intact.

Thanks again
