Hi guys,
I have downloaded and installed the MS antispyware Beta version. When I
click Help and then about it brings up a screen that has a 'Diagnostics'
button, which when clicked tells you what is running in the Ms Anti spyware.
Can anyone shed any light as to what this line means:
Session.TimeBombDaysRemaining: 202
Session.TimeBombExpirationDate: 31/07/2005

Makes you wonder, thanks for any help
Regards
Bob H

Hi

After that time you're gonna have to pay for it??

The beta will stop working in 202 days. That day is July 31, 2005.

Does anyone know if Microsoft decided to charge for this tool in the future?

Such Beta versions are set so that they will cease to work after a given
time, like six months. Before that you need to uninstall and maybe
install a later Beta or or the final version (or decide not to use it).
This is to make sure that beta versions - Brings Errors To All - do not
get left around on production systems causing problems

BETA means you are willing to format and install fresh when BETA ware
fails.
