Microsoft Antispyware (Beta 1) HANGS on file UFantasy.ini

90% of the time Microsoft AntiSpyware (Beta 1) runs automatically, it hangs
my computrer COMPLETLY on the file UFantasy.ini After some search on the
web, I found that this file is some sort of list of potential external USB
storage devices "possibly" needed only under Windows 98.

What ever may be doing, everything is lost. I cant even "CTRL+ALT+DEL" out
of it. The only solution is the RESET or the ON/OFF button.

My system (Intel P4 2.66, 1GB Ram) runs on Windows XP Pro, Version 2002,
SP2.

Now, yesterday, it happened suring a 1.3gb download, when there was only
about 200mb left to download. So it really pissed me off. I have to
re-start the whole thing.

Anyone knows if I can delete that file? Or what should I do? Is this a
problem with the Antispyware Beta version? Please send suggestions.

Hello Phillipe,

you can make a copy of the file and put it elsewhere and than delete the
file and reboot (MAKE A RESTORE POINT FIRST)
or go to the Windows site to Download Beta2 Windefender!
