Go here

Click on the MSAS Beta 1.0.701 link, Download Torrent and Save it to
disk, then open it with a torrent client to download the installer.

Following link is for ABC Bit Torrent (free)and there is a "how to" on
that page also. ABC is one of hundreds of torrent clients - its pretty
easy to set up and use.

There may be other download sources, the torrent is all I could find.
It will be on other P2P networks also no doubt.

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/p2p_software/p2p_applications/abc.cfm

That will give you MSAS Beta 1 v1.0.701 ( the last version) You need
to register with After Dawn to download ABC or you can google for it,
its open source so its on sourceforge somewhere.

CAUTION this MSAS installer will not be from Microsoft so its security
is not guaranteed - install it at your own risk - you should treat it
as any other P2P download and scan it with anti-virus before opening
the file.

When you have the file uninstall Defender and re-install MSAS Beta

Better than all this palaver would be to un-install Defender and buy a
years subscription to Spyware Doctor - or Webroot Spysweeper. By the
time the subscription runs out Defender should be working correctly
and in the meantime you will have protection that is very reliable as
opposed to a slightly buggy beta application.

Defender should really be used on a test PC while its in Beta, MSAS
Beta was better on the surface because it was Giant Antispyware before
M$ bought it - they have now re-written it - you can tell can't
you?....

Also every time you download an application copy the installer
somewhere and keep copies of the original and all the upgrade versions
- that way you can re-install at will and backtrack to earlier
versions if necessary. Also save all reg codes and serials on a
notepad text file with the relevant application.

This paragraph alone should be enough to tell you this is not the software
to be using.
