Defender and Antispyware

When I install Defender, the beta 1 version of Antispyware stays installed.
Both are running. I thought Defender removed the earlier Antispyware. It also
seems to create some conflicts, trying to open unassociated programs. Any
ideas?

Remove beta 1 through the Control Panel (after stopping it!). Download a free
program called Regfix. Run Regfix to cleanup the registry. Run a defrag from
start-programs-accessories-system tools, then reboot.

I left a note in their 'Was this site helpful = NO' message box about whether
to uninstall Beta 1 first. But as I had the download I decided to uninstall
Beta 1 and then install Beta 2.

This must be correct as all is OK.

I think there were 2 things that must be listed, and now with IE7, 3.

1. Size of download.
2. Do you uninstall previous, or install over.
and now three..
3. This site uses pop-ups (So you may need to temp allow them.)

*Note: As Internet Explorer 7.0.5296.0 Beta does not reinstall ieSpell I
have no spell checker.
