Microsoft Anti-Spyware Update

I get pop-ups telling me a new Microsoft Anti-Spyware
Update is available and then asks me if I want to
download the new version. When I try to download, it
doesn't download anything and it says update is
complete. Can you tell me what is going on?

Typical, and current, are 1.0.615 and 5761

Mine says 1.0.615 and 5753 after File | Check for Updates.

What do I need to do to get the 5761 Definitions?
