I have connected a microphone to my new computer, and it seems to record fine. But when I start an audio conversation on MSN Messenger, no body can hear me. I have used the Audio/Video Tuning Wizard, but it seems to do nothing. If anyone can help me, please reply.

You need to include more info.

When you use the Wizard, are you registering your voice - is the meter
jumping when you talk?

If not, what kind of mic are you using - are you using an old style
plug into the soundcard mic, or are you using one that is part of a
webcam, or one that plugs into a USB port?

I ask, because when I configured Messenger programs, it by default
listed my a sound card as the source of where the mic would plug in,
when in fact I was using a mic as part of a webcam that plugs into a
USB port. I just overlooked it and needed to just change it form one
to the other.

Make sure the mic is selected as the input device.
