Microfoon doesn't work !! Win XP pro Bug ??

Since 2 days microfoon doesn't work. I've already tried everything i could >
new drivers , . I have a terratec aureon 5.1 Fun wave device and a nvidia
Nforce 2 on board ( i use aureon 5.1 ) but none of the folowing soundcards
whant suppert the micro > i don't hear my own tecords and other people (
Skype , Teamspeak , ...) can't hear ether . I tried my Micro out on an Other
pc a there it works But on my PC.
I have Windows XP Professional . Help me please. A Windows xp pro Bug ??

Een Microfoon (grieks: micros, phonos ofwel klein geluid) is een
elektromechanisch onderdeel dat een akoestisch signaal (geluidsgolf) omzet
in een elektrisch signaal overeenkomend met het akoestische signaal. Dit

The operation of your microphone is governed by the software
of your soundcard. It has very little to do with Windows. There
could be lots of reasons why it does not work for you:
- Faulty sound card -> try it on another PC, or try a friend's sound card!
- Faulty sound card software -> try another sound card!
- Microphone input muted -> unmute it!
- Recording volume set to 0 -> turn up the volume!
For ease of understanding, I recommend that you repost your
question in a Dutch newsgroup.
