Microsoft Works is a very primitive program in comparison with
the Microsoft Office programs you are accustomed to using. If you
want to continue doing the same things youve done in the past
with Office, you'll almost certainly want to buy a copy of
Microsoft Office (or some compatible program, such as WordPerfect
Office, Open Office, or StarOffice).
In the meantime, if you just want to view the PowerPoint
presentation you've received (but not modify it or create your
own), you can download Microsoft's free PowerPoint viewer at
